Connecting Production to Markets
Producing a mineral commodity is only half the challenge — selling it sustainably, at a fair price, through a reliable channel is often where junior miners struggle most. JMF’s trading services are designed to help close that gap.

Our Advocary Services
JMF’s Advocacy Services are dedicated to fostering constructive relationships between mining enterprises, communities, surface owners, local organisations, traditional structures, businesses and other stakeholders within mining areas. We advocate with and on behalf of marginalised, disadvantaged and historically disenfranchised stakeholders, ensuring that their voices are heard, their interests are considered and their participation in mining-related opportunities is meaningfully advanced.
We serve as a bridge between mining enterprises and the communities and organisations within their areas of operation, helping to prevent misunderstandings, address grievances, facilitate dialogue and build the trust necessary for sustainable mining development. Our role extends beyond community engagement to promoting healthy working relationships among all relevant stakeholders, fostering cooperation, resolving tensions and encouraging mutually beneficial outcomes.
Through our Community Training, Empowerment and Mentorship Services, we assist communities and emerging enterprises in becoming better positioned to participate in the mining economy. This includes guidance on structuring community-based entities and cooperatives, assistance with registration through the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), support with supplier-database registration, enterprise development, capacity building and mentorship to help stakeholders become more organised, compliant and commercially ready.
We also support mining enterprises in navigating the often complex and sensitive dynamics of engaging with historically excluded stakeholders, surface owners and community-based structures. By facilitating stakeholder engagement, promoting transparent communication and helping parties understand their respective interests and responsibilities, we work towards reducing conflict, strengthening social licence to operate and creating pathways for inclusive economic participation.
