- Prospectors — individuals and entities identifying and evaluating mineral opportunities
- Artisanal Miners — seeking pathways to formalisation, safety, sustainability and economic participation
- Small-Scale Miners — established and emerging enterprises looking to expand and improve sustainability
- Emerging Mining Companies — junior companies developing or operating mineral projects
- Mineral-Rights Holders — individuals, communities, companies and other legitimate rights holders
- Communities — community structures seeking meaningful economic participation
- Project Developers — groups developing mining projects within their tenements
- Mining Shareholders & Equity Holders — individuals and entities with ownership stakes in mining companies
- Mid-Tier Miners — established companies beyond the early junior stage, still seeking growth and strategic opportunity
- Application — Complete the official JMFSA membership application form and provide the required supporting information.
- Joining Fee — Pay the applicable membership/joining fee per the Forum's fee structure.
- Assessment — Your application is reviewed against JMFSA's membership requirements and governance framework.
- Approval — Successful applicants are formally approved.
- Membership Number — Approved members receive an official JMFSA Membership Number.
- Onboarding — New members are introduced to the Forum's network, communication platforms, programmes and initiatives.
